Fun With Kris And Kayja

Kris and Kayja came up from Utah to see Jen graduate from Fort Jackson. We were glad she was able to come and stay with us for a few hours and just relax. We had a nice time together just hanging out. Then we went out to dinner at Rodgers for some good old Southern food. (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Thames) After Dinner we went to Rita's I am so glad Kris served his mission so we can find such a place.

This is them at the base, we wish them the best. I don't know how anyone could stay away from each other for so long. But I am grateful for those that do that keep our country safe.

We went to the beach and had one of our normal stops there, Five Guys. We just love there food. Here are some beach Pictures....

We found some cool shells.

The kids loved playing in the water, it was one of the warmest days we had why they were here. If we would have went the Saturday before we would have been in the snow.
Kris was so scared he was going to have to jump in after Kayja. She wanted to go far out in the water.

Kit was in the same boat...I just laughed as they jumped out of there seats every few minutes.

We also went to Broadway at the beach. We fed fish, went to the Disney store, And got some candy at the candy store. We had such a good day.

We are so grateful that Kris and Kayja were able to come out and see our house and spend time with us. I hope we are able to do it again soon.

Fun With Family

We have had so much fun with my brother and one of his cute girls Kayja at our house. We have had so much fun hanging out, eating food, and playing lots of games.

Well the twins turned 3 months on the 12th and they are cuter than ever. I love when they smile and have a nice chat. They are getting so aware of everything that is around them and love any attention they can get. For Valentines day all the kids got new PJ's and they were so excited to ware them to bed.
They also got a box of chocolates that Carsen couldn't keep his hands off of.
It is so hard taking pictures of the kids with all of them looking this is one after about 15 pictures that were taken. And it shows all there personalities.
I think it is so funny that Kris was so excited to leave all the snow and he came here when we had our only snow of the year. We all had so much fun playing in it though.
This is our cute house in the snow! we got between 4 and 5 inches the most I have ever seen here.
For Valentines day the kids got there dad's some Krispy Kream Donuts. They were heart shaped. The Kids loved them.
This is when the snow started and I had the kids run outside and play in the snow because you never know how long it is going to be there.
We are so excited to have Kris and Kayja here and we are excited to spend more time together.

I wanna look like Dad!

Carsen always want to be like his daddy. And for Christmas they all got matching jackets. Now when ever Kit is wearing his Carsen has to ware his to.

They Love each other so much. And soon We are going to have all four boys running around together.
We make this look Good!

This is Carsen after Church. He fell asleep at the kitchen table. I had to take a picture his head isn't even on the bench.

We had such a good Sunday. Carsen went to his class without any help. It only took 3 weeks that is pretty good I would say. And both the boys slept almost the whole time.

More fun..Birthday, and Doctors

This is the babies the other night why we are playing some games. They kept each other company and held each others hand. Daddy had his Birthday he is now 28 years old. When we got up to decorate for Dad's Birthday he stayed in bed and played with the babies and Mikyn and Carsen helped rap the presents. Mikyn shouted "we need to rap daddies pants." I quickly ran over and shut the door, Kit had a big grin on his face and I said, "Happy Birthday." I then ran out to finish putting things together and get ready for church. Carsen ran in and told his dad, "Daddy you are getting a bubble maker." So we now know that our kids can't keep a secrete. But It was funny it wasn't a bubble maker it was a level (it has bubbles in it). Any way he had a good birthday and loved being with his family. Today we took the boys to the doctor for their 2 month checkup. They are both so healthy. They are now both 12 lb, and in the 50th percentile which is way good for twins and preemies. The only difference between them is that Rowen is 1 inch shorter then Burgen. All in all they are healthy growing boys. At the Doctor we had some fun waiting for the doctor to come in. I found out that Burgen knows how to scoot around, so I need to watch him very carefully. And they are both smiling. It isn't gas.

I am so proud to have my wonderful children they are so cute and bring so much happiness to our family!

The Twins First Time Going To Church

The kids were so excited to have the babies go to church today. Carsen was so proud that they were wearing what he wore when he was little. I tell you what though it takes allot of work to get 4 little kids in the car on time for church. We now know that if we are ever planning on going anywhere we need to get ready 2 hours in advance.
We finally made it to church and Kit and I just sat in the car and said, "are you ready to go home?" We were both so tired that we didn't want to get out of the car. But we did.

Carsen is having a hard time adjusting to being a sunbeam. But it will help him for school when he starts this fall. Mikyn love growing and getting bigger, she loved moving up into her new class and learning new things.

We made cupcakes for a treat after church they were so good. The kids put all the ingredients in, mixed the badder, and put on sprinkles. They love to cook.

What a great way to start off the new year. We are all so grateful for each other.
