Thanksgiving

We had so much fun for Thanksgiving. The night before the kids set a turkey trap to try and catch Mr. Turkey. They almost got him this year but, Mr. Turkey gave them a good treat to eat. Grandma Airplane taught them how to blow the turkey feathers in the air. They thought it was so cool. Maybe next year we will catch Mr. Turkey.
We made some pumpkin pie...And found it with a big hand print in it. I asked the kids who did it and Carsen said, "I did." Then I asked him why and he said, "I wanted to taste it." I couldn't stop laughing. then I asked him if it was good. and he said, "very good." He is so funny.
The kids also made some turkey rice crispie treats. Which were so good.
We had such a good Thanksgiving, and are getting ready for Christmas!

Our new additions to the family!

This is me the Monday before we had the babies. I thought it will only help. Rowens first night home...Mikyn is the best big sister. She comes home from school gets all cleaned off and then asks can I hold the babies. She does such a good job and gets so excited to change a diaper.
First night with all the kids. We had so much fun, they all love each other so much.
The twins love sleeping in the same blanket together. And they will sleep for a good 3-4 hours.
We took some good pictures of them today.
It is so much fun...
They have the cutest little spirits...
Grandma Airplane helps out so much. I don't know how I would have done it without her.
More fun pictures...
And this is all of the Boys...They are now taking over the house.
We are so grateful for our full house. And the love we all have for each other. Thanks to everyone for all your love and support.

Babies are here!

November 12, 2009, We just got to the hospital and were getting ready to have the twins. We got there and within 2 hours we were getting ready to deliver.
We had Baby A Rowen Jax Thames at 4:58 he was 5lb and 12 oz 19 inches long.Baby B Burgen Christopher Thames, arrived at 4:59 he was 5 lb 11 oz, and 19 1/4 inch long. This is Burgen in the Nicu, he was having a hard time breathing, but was doing good. It is never fun seeing your cute little baby all hooked up to all the monitors. It brakes your heart. He was a trooper. We are so proud of him. This was the first time we were able to see the babies together. They looked so much alike. But Burgen has a cute little birth mark on his head so we will be able to tell them apart for a while.

This is there cute beds. My mom got them both sock monkeys for when they were born. This is my babies...The boys are now taking over the house. This is Rowen in his Go Cock hat. He is such a proud dad. This is our fist night home. We weren't able to bring Burgen home. But we had a good time with Rowen. Burgen came home the next morning at 10:00am were were so excited to have our family all together.

We will be posting more pictures soon.

Fun With Grandma...

I was just saying the other night how much I am going to miss my table...The babies are so big I don't even need to hold my food on. Rita's are so good. On the way to church Carsen thought he was so funny pushing grandma over in a puddle.
All 4 kids on Halloween after Trick or treating.

First house they ever trick or treated.
We went to see Where the Wild things are. I don't think anyone should ever see it.
But we had fun.
The kids love going to movies.

We are so grateful that grandma is here she is taking care of all of us. Thanks Grandma!
