Papa's Fly In

We went to papa's fly in the other day. The kids had so much fun. We were able to wach people fly there planes some of them were verry good!
The kids had luch there the were able to get some hot dogs and chips. Carsen ate 2 hot dogs. I think it is his favorite food, because he always asks people if they have him a hot dogg!

We are so happy for the summer, we hope to do many fun things this year!

Strawberry Patch

This is Mikyn at the strawberry patch. She went with her 3K class. They were all excited.

They each got there own container to fill up. Miky packed hers so tight that she couldn't shut the lid! That's my Girl.

And now all she wants is some strawberry short cake!

We Are Having Twins!

So we went into the doctor today for our first ultrasound and to our amazement we found out we are having TWINS. We have been speculating it for a few weeks now, I have been getting so big so fast and I have been so tired. I asked Kit what was the first thing that came to his mind and we both said at the same time, "Holy Crap" We are so excited. I told Kit he gave me every thing I have ever wanted, A good husband, cute kids, twins, a new car... I have been so blessed. We can't wait for the new arrivals. Now we have to think of 4 names!

Easter

We had such a good Easter. The kids were so excited to see that the Easter bunny ate there egg they colored for him. And then ran through the house trying to find there baskets. It was fun because Carsen found Mikyn's basket in the coat closet, and Mikyn found Carsen's on top of the dryer. They got bike helmets and knee pads and lots of candy!
They were excited to ware their new Easter clothes.

We spiked Carsens hair for the fist time his hair is so long!

That night we went over to Grandma and Grandpas Thames house we had and Easter egg hunt all the eggs were filled with even more candy. They were in a race for the first time, it was so cute. They were trying to get some of the eggs before the other that they passes up so many. We then ate some wonderful food, ham, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, rice and beans,and some home maid pecan Ice Cream.

Our fun Day

So we had so much fun today. We made Easter eggs and the kids loved it Mikyn calmed all the Pink ones and Carsen took each egg and placed it in a different color about every 5 seconds. It was so much fun to hear them name out all the colors. I made a special egg for the baby it was pink and blue. It said baby on it with December 13, the due date.
We also were able to attend the South Carolina Spring Game. It was so much fun we took the Kids with us. The whole way up the were so excited to go to a football game.
Carsen fell to sleep about 1/2 of the way up there and was knocked out cold. About 5 minutes before we got there he woke up in a panic and said, "Are we still going to a football game?" He thought he had already missed it. While we were there he would flirt and play with all the other people around us. He is so friendly.

Mikyn stayed up on the trip down there, she didn't want to miss a thing. She was so excited to go to a football game. She is just to opposite of Carsen she is so shy and doesn't want to talk to anyone. We had so much fun, I think it caught up with her because on the way home she fell right to sleep.

On the way home they kept asking if they could go back to another football game, and we said maybe next time. It is so much fun doing stuff with the kids.

Getting Excited for the Bunny

When we were out in Utah we went to a Dinosaur Museum and this one was waring a bunny ears and nose and the kids wanted a picture in front of it. Mikyn is so excited for Easter this year she keeps asking me if Easter is here yet. I have to keep saying in a couple of days. But she has her Easter party at school on Thursday and she is so excited. We have been watching Roley Poly Oley Easter and Here comes Peter Cotton tale. The past few days the kids have been acting out all the shows that they have been watching. And this week it happens to be Dora. Carsen is swiper and swipes all Mikyn's Princess stuff. He sneaks up on his tippy toes and Mikyn says, "Swiper no swiping, Swiper no swiping, Swiper no swiping." Then Carsen says, "Oh man!" and runs away. But yesterday he was able to swipe something and said, "You'll never get it back now, Ha Ha Ha" Kit and I couldn't stop laughing. They are getting so big and cute!

A New Baby!

Mikyn was born May 20, 2005.

She was the best little girl we could have ever asked for!

Carsen was born October 24, 2006
He is so much fun, our lives would be so boring without him!

It is so much fun to watch our family grow.... And grow...

And now even more. We are so excited to find out that we are going to have another baby to add to our family.

It all started on April 1, yes April Fools Day. Gerryn was already going to fake being pregnant and I thought that wouldn't work for us because we have been trying to have one. So I couldn't really think of anything to do. That morning I haven't been feeling to good so I thought lets just take a test for fun! The test came back positive but it was so faint that I thought that it wasn't right. But I had to make sure. So when the kids got up from there nap we ran to Target and got another pregnancy test. And sure enough it was positive. I was so excited but I had to wait for Kit to come home. I left the testes in the bathroom so he would see them when he got home. And he didn't even notice the test, he noticed the box in the garbage. He then said, " You took a pregnancy test, (Pause) Are you pregnant? (Pause) Is this a joke?" I then had to convince him that it was no joke we were going to have a baby! We were so excited. We then started to tell everyone and no one believed us because we were joking around about it for April fools Day. But then everyone knew it was true! I went to the Doctor the next day and the lady said, "you haven't even missed a period yet." I said, " I know but I am pregnant" then she comes back to get me and said, "You are right you are pregnant, and the due date is December 13th, congratulations." I then called everyone letting them know my due date. We are going to have our first ultrasound on the 29th. That is when it is all real when you can actually see it. We are so excited to watch our family grow!

Mikyn Can Spell Mom!

So we were outside the other day cleaning up our yard. And Mikyn said, "mom I am going to spell mom." I asked if she wanted help and she said, "No I can do it" She then starts saying, "M O M" I was so proud. She is getting to be such a good girl and so smart. I would have never thought that a 3K class would have thought her all those things. She is also one of the only kids in her class that can write her name. Aunt Joann gave us some books to start with her reading and she is doing good with that as well. She knows the words. I, am, Sam, see. She can tell them to me when she sees them. We are so proud of our little Miky!
