Mikyn was in the News Paper

Mikyn and her Preschool was in the News Paper for Collecting quarters for Needy Family's in the Darlington area. They had to do different chores around the house to earn quarters and then take them to school and put them in the piggy bank. They made enough money for each class to have there own family, there were 4 families. Mikyn was so excited earning money for the families we hope it helped out!

CHRISTMAS

This is at our Christmas Eve Party! We had fun, Kits ant Tammy and Uncle Mike, and Grandma Pervis come up and we have dinner and open presents this year we had it at our house! This is what the kids got from Santa...

Carsen got a big train set, a train table and much much more....

Mikyn got a Doll that looks just like her and every pony you can imagine...

We had so much fun on Christmas it was such a relaxing day with now schedule nothing that had to be done but what the kids wanted!

We got so many cool things from our friends and family. We want to thank you so much for everything!

We are so excited that Santa is coming tonight... We made Reindeer cookies for him to eat...
Carsen was singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!

Mikyn told him, " No I need to sing it myself." and makes sure he knows that Santa is on his way.

LAST YEAR - THIS YEAR

So we were looking at our pictures Last Christmas and this Christmas and I can't believe how much they have changed.

We were watching our Christmas video from last year and Carsen was just walking...Now he is counting to 20 all by himself. Mikyn was calling Santa "Ho Ho" Now she corrects us and makes sure Carsen calls him by his real name. They grow up so quick, you don't realize it until you look back. And then you wonder were all the wonderful time has gone. We love our wonderful little family!

We had a fun Morning

Well the kids got in the bath and were pretending to swim. And when they got out Carsen wanted me to do his hair and this is what we came up with :)We all thought it was so funny and Mikyn couldn't stop laughing at him. So we decided we needed to take some pictures and that it was blog worthy:)

WE SAW SANTA !

We went and saw Santa yesterday and the kids were so excited! Mikyn was so good and she was the one I was worried about. She sat there so big and told Santa she wants pony's and presents. Carsen wouldn't stop crying but once we were at a safe distance he told Santa that he wanted some choo choos. They are so cute and Christmas is going to be so much fun.We love you Santa!

Package From Grandma and Grandpa Casias

The kids were so excited to get a package from Airplane Grandma and Grandpa. In the box was a place mat kit. We were able to make them the other day and the kids love them.

This is what they look like. Carsen is all about frosty the snowman this year so any time he sees a snowman he calls him Frosty:)We hope everyone is having a good Holiday season!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Well we started off our Thanksgiving week with Mikyns concert at school. She was so cute she sang songs and resited John 3:16. After the performance the school had a lunch for us. The kids loved it.

The day before Thanks giving we set a Turkey trap...

But we didn't catch the turkey...

He left the kids some candy corn for a good try we hope to get him next year...

We had Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Thames' house. It was so good.

And finished the day off with Pecan Shaking. We have so many Pecans on the trees this year!

We decorated our house for Christmas...

We are going to get two potted plants to go on each side of our door and then it is done. It looks so cute at night. Hope ya'll had a good Thanksgiving!

We had so much fun watching the UTAH vs. BYU Game last night! Mikyn knew it was time to where her go Utes jersey!

Every time we scored we played the Utah fight song and danced!
We have to do something when we can't be there!

So my kids thought it would be funny to finger paint with there pudding right before mikyn had school But it is just one of those things that all you could do is laugh at.
Being a mom is so much fun!!

Thanks Giving

I love that Mikyn is in school because then she knows all the holidays and gets so excited for them. Carsen kept saying that everything was a chicken but Mikyn always reminds him that it is a turkey. We were so happy to have gerryn and korbin here and we miss them so much ...When we took them to the air port yesterday Mikyn wouldn't let us leave until she saw a plain leave. And when Carsen got up this morning he ran into his room and asked where did Timmy (Korbin) Go?We are going to miss them so much and can't wait tell they come and see us agin.
Mikyn and Carsen are getting so excited for Christmas but We need to celebrate Thanksgiving first. I made the mistake of getting our Christmas stuff out too soon last year.

Our Suprise

Well Gerryn and Korbin were scheduled to leave on November 4th....

But and unscheduled sickness fell upon us...

We all were so sick and week that we couldn't leave our house.

It ended up to be a good thing...

We found them another plain ticket for the 10th. So they were able to stay for another week. We colored a turkey on the back porch. Traced all of our kids bodies. They were so cute!

And yesterday we painted Indian vests...The kids had so much fun....

I don't know what it was but I think Carsen got more on him than his vest.

Mikyn loved putting her hands in paint until it was over and then she couldn't play until she was clean...She hates being dirty.

Be have had so much fun this extra week we have had together and we haven't been sick:) We love ya'll.
