Christmas Day

Santa was so good to us this year. He gave the kids all laundry baskets filled with presents. This year Rowen and Burgen didn't know what was going on but they loved opening presents. We had church at 11 so we opened all the stuff from Santa and had breakfast. We had a good friend Ngiri Chavis and Kits parents over. It was so fun and it was a good pause in the action.

After Church we went over to grandma and grandpas and opened presents over there. It was so fun and Kits mom made a very good lunch.

We came home and opened presents from the family and cleaned up. Then the Missionaries came over and called there families I loved hearing how happy they were to talk to there families it brought back so many memories. I miss my mission days but love the ones I have now.

The twins love this when we blew it up it was so cool you throw the balls in the top and then they roll down the road to the middle. So cool. What a good Christmas. They just keep getting better.

Christmas EVE

Christmas Eve is one of the funnest days of the year. The kids are so excited and so are we. I have so much fun with the kids making cookies playing and watching Christmas movies. The twins wanted Cheetos. One of the first things we did was find the Santa tracker on NORAD. It was so fun to see what he had already done.

Elfis brought the kids all an early Christmas present. They all got new pillow pets. They loved it because they were able to have them while we watched Christmas movies.

For breakfast we had snowman and snowflake pancakes. they were so good. For dinner we went with Kits parents to IHOP. It was so much fun to go out with the kids. We kept them up all day so they would sleep at night.

We got new pj's this year thanks to grandma and grandpa airplane. They are so cute. We are so excited for Christmas.

Our Elfis

We had a funn elf this year. The kids named him Elfis. He was in a new hiding place every day. The first thing the kids did was look for him every morning. The had a few days were he pulled some pranks on us. One of which he got ahold of a blue marker and wrote on all our faces while we were sleeping. It took a while to get it off the sneeky little elf.

Poler Express

Mikyn had her Polar Express day today at school. They get to all Dress up in there Pj's and watch the movie and have Hot Chocolate.

She wanted to wear her robe to school. I did her hair way cute. Thanks to Gerryn for all the cute bows.

I don't think I put this up yet but it is a picture of our tree all finished. The kids have gotten to it though. But I still love it.

Ginger Bread House!

Well we finally did it our ginger bread house for the year! It was so much fun. We made if from scratch. It was my first year making royal icing by myself it wasn't that bad. The kids had so much fun making the house. The twins we asleep already but next year I think they will be able to make it.

Mom and Carsen worked together and did three sides. We have a snowman for each of us.

Mikyn and Kit did the other sides. It looked so cute we love it.

Also have a letter for each of there names. We are so excited for Christmas.

Grandma Airplane Suprised us!

We were so excited to have Grandma Airplane surprise us. She didn't tell anyone but Kit and came out for a week. On Sunday Kit told me he was going out with the missionaries. So I ended up going to his parents with the kids. Well it was time to come home and Kit wasn't going to be able to make it. So I got home and got the kids ready for bed and was finally relaxing. Then I get a text from Kit saying he is trying to find someone a place to stay. We left it at that and then a while later he said he was letting them stay at our house for a few days. Kit doesn't do things like that unless he trusts them so I said that was fine. I didn't realize it tell they were about 5 min away that it was my mom. She was texting lots of crazy stuff and then she rang the door bell. The kids were all asleep. She woke up Mikyn and Carsen and had a few minutes of fun. Then we were able to stay up and talk about lots of stuff.

The next day the twins remembered her. They went right to her and played on her phone. They had so much fun playing in the bath with bath fome. We played Christmas bingo almost everyday. Grandma had gotten lots of prizes and the kids were in heaven. It lasted throughout the whole week.

We were so excited to have grandma here Mikyn had her play the next night it was so cute. She was one of Santa's reindeer. She did such a good job and the boys loved it.

This is Mikyns teacher Ms. Cook She is such a cute teacher I am so glad Mikyn is in her class.

We went to the movie with grandma, we saw Arther Christmas. It was such a cute show. The kids had so much fun we were the only ones in the Theater so we didn't have to worry to much about how loud the kids were and where they sat.

The week went by way to fast. We miss her so much. But we can't wait tell next summer when we are going to go out and see the whole family! We love y'all Merry Christmas.

Getting Ready For Christmas

Well we are so excited for Christmas. This year Grandma and Grandpa Airplane gave us a new advent calender I love it so much. The kids had so much fun putting all the candy in the socks. We are going to use our other advent calender to. We are going to have one in the morning and one at night.

Our Christmas tree is half decorated I ran out of white tool. So I need to get more and finish it. I talked Kit into letting me get a new tree this year it is 9' I love it we needed it with our new vaulted ceiling in our family room. I love it every time I walk in. And it is pre lit so I don't have to put any lights on it. It was so nice.

We were so grateful for the Missionaries who came over and helped us on thanksgiving to put up all our Christmas stuff and Shake the Pecan trees. We had such a good time with them. We are so excited for Christmas and the kids are trying to be extra good.

Turkey Trap

Well the kids set a good Turkey Trap this year for Thanksgiving.

They decided that the turkey would love some popcorn. So we put down some popcorn for the bate.

They got up at 430 in the morning because they saw feathers all over. I never knew that kids could get this excited on thanksgiving. It was like Christmas.

Well needless to say the turkey got away and left the kids some Reese's cups and some turkey and Pilgrim rubber duckies. Mabe we can catch him next year. Good thing grandma Mattie cooked one for us this year.

Carsens Program

Today was Carsen's Thanksgiving performance. He did such a good job. He sangsongs and did the First Thanksgiving play. We are so proud of him.

The boys did so good and loved waching all the kids sing songs, and clap when they were done. Good Job Carsen! We love you!

We were decorating Mikyns turkey for school. We needed to use lots of different things and be creative. Well I got out all the craft stuff. When I looked down to get a glue stick this is what the twins were doing! I was wondering why they were so good. So needless to say one of those things you just take a big deep breath and then a picture.

It took forever to get it up and the twins still have glitter in there hair today! Funny boys!

Fall Leavs

The Kids had so much fun playing in the leaves. They kept raking them up in a pile and jumping in them. Kennedy came over to play with them to. All the kids love playing with her.

Everyone would count "one, two, three..." and throw them in the air. Even the twins.

I think they all loved it but Burgen wouldn't leave the pile for anything. A few more days and we will be picking up the pecans for Thanksgiving and then Christmas...

RACOON

Ever sence we had the racoon in yard the other year we have had a thing for them. My mom got the boys these shirts for the boys. And we had to get a picture of them with there dad.

The kids did so good in the program. I was so proud of them. And the twins sat there very good for daddy to? What I was expecting to be a very stressful day the kids were so good. And it was a lot easier on me. I love you kids.

They have come such a long way. This was just a few days after they were born.

here we all are what a cute looking bunch I must say. The twins have learned that whenever we have a camera out you say Cheese.

We had so much fun we had over 150 balloons and the twins would run threw them and fall over. They had so much fun. This is Rowen doing a balloon angel.

They got so many fun toys if feels like Christmas. And they felt like it.

We sang happy birthday one at a time. Burgen waited and then blew out the candle.

Rowen blew it out as soon as it was lit I had to light it 3 times.

They loved the cake and the sucker eyes. We are so excited to have them in our family.

I don't know what I would do without them. It seems like yesterday that we found out we were having twins. I love you boys Happy Birthday.

Father Son Date!!!

Carsen was so excited to go on a date with his dad. He got up at 6am and woke Kit up and told him to bet dressed. He didn't want to be late. Well he got up a bit later and they went out to breakfast with Grandpa for "eggs and grits"

They got to the play after that and saw The Gingerbread Man.

Carsen had so much fun with his dad they were buddy's the rest of the day. I have never heard him talk like that ever. It was non stop. What a fun day I am so glad they were able to have that time together.

Happy Halloween

Carsen had a Halloween party at school. He got lots of fun things from his class.

That night the kids with Trick or Treating up and down our ould stree. Kit said the twin's walked the whole way. I stayed home and passed out candy.

When they got home we had hot chocolate and pumpkin donuts form Krispy Kream. They are so good, there isn't anything like them. Happy Halloween.

Halloween Party At Church

The kids have been waiting for this Halloween Party for a long time. The primary was in charge of it so I was just glad it was over. It ended being so good and there was such a good turn out. That is what we were trying to focus on getting as many there as we could.

We had homemade corn dogs and chips for dinner. They were so good.

There were so many fun games for the kids to play.

This is the after math. The kids got so many good treats and toys.

Man we had such a good time and now time for Halloween.

Mikyn's the Terrific Kid in September

Carving the Pumpkins

Well the time finaly came. The kids were so excited to carve the pumpkins. So we did it the night before the Halloween party at the Church. We gave the kids both a marker and let them draw whatever they wanted on the pumpkins. Then they showed us what they wanted carved out.

Carsen had to have little legs on his. He also loved having one big eye and one small one.

We took them out and put a candel in them. They lookes so cut all lit up.

We are so excited for Halloween.

I can't believe how funny our kids are getting.

Some of the funny things they are doing. Rowen likes to dance around and make funny faces he will do just about anything as long as somone thinks he is funny. Everytime we go to take him out of his car seat he pretends he is asleep.

Burgen is just as funny. They still don't call me mom. They call me daddy. One morning Kit and I were laying in bed and Burgen comes in and says, "daddy.." Kit said, " What son?" Burgen said, "no mom...Daddy." He was letting us know he wanted me not dad. He just thinks it is funny not to call me mom.

I don't know what I would do without the little Men!

Pumpkin Patch

For those of you who don't know my kids love Halloween. They had so much fun picking out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. The twins picked out small ones that they can hold. Mikyn picked out this one she said it was perfict she dosen't like when pumpkins have bumps all over them. Carsen picked out one with big bumps all over it. He always likes to be different.

Carsen's Mario Birthday

Carsen wanted to have a party at home this year. With some pizza. He had a Mario birthday we mad him a 1 up mushroom cake. He got all the connects for his birthday to make a fun Mario track with his new cars.
We played pin the wheel on the Mario race car. The babies liked this the most.

Carsen thought it was so fun. Gerryn drew the car by looking on the Mario cart game box. She is so good.

We made some Yoshi Egg cake pops.

Gerryn and Korbin Are here!

We are so excited to have Gerryn and Korbin with us for a few weeks. We did so many fun things.
The Kids loved playing in the dirt at grandma and grandpas house they were so dirty and we had to comb out all the little rocks out of their hair. Rowen loved aunt Gerryn...they have always been close even when he was a baby.

We went to the beach and the weather couldn't have been better. But Rowen had to get use to it all over again. but when he did they had so much fun.

We tried to get some cute pictures I think we did. I just had to take about 200 to get enough for our Christmas card.

Ya still trying to get used to the waves. Burgen did so good.

Korbin was so cute it is like he is always here. It only took him and Carsen about 10 minutes every day and they got along great.

The twins loved having Korbin over.

After the beach we came home and took long showers and then had hot chocolate and cereal for dinner. Those are my kind of dinners. We love you Gerryn and Korbin.

Dad's work fundraser.

The boys loved going to Dad's Softball fundraiser. And the weather was so nice.
They loved climbing up and down the stairs.

Mikyn and Carsen would cheer every time dad was up to bat.

Mikyn is getting so big she looks like a little lady not a little girl anymore.
She looked so beautiful for picture day.

Carsen was so ready for school he picked out his Mario shirt. He is now in 4k.

He is so good he already knows his First and last name and how to spell it.

The Twins had to put on old back packs this morning so they could be just like there brother and sister. That is going to be so crazy when they are all in school I am just glad it isn't for a few years. I just love being home with my cute kids.

For our first night we had my dads spaghetti. And the boys loved it!
We had there high chairs out and they did so good we put them right up in the attic. They are getting so big. I am having a hard time not calling them babies...they are almost two so I have to get working on that.

The kids love having there own space. We had to go to church the next day because I was getting my new calling. I was so nervous but way excited. I am the new Primary President. I am just so glad that I have such amazing councilors to work with.

Now time for the unpacking. Wish us luck!!!

First night in our new house!

Carsen loved his new room. We gave them buddy night lights when we moved in so when they needed us they could just grab them and come to our room.
We love our little Mikyn room and she slept so good because Carsen wasn't there to bug her.

The boys did so good in there room for the first time. It was there first night in a toddler beds. They stayed in bed all night and came and found me in the morning! It was so nice.

Moving Day

We are way excited for our moving day!!! We were lucky and got one big truck were it only took one trip. Carsen worked so hard packing everything he could carry to the truck.
Our house is so perfect. We love it so much. We have 5 rooms and lots of open space for our cute family. We have been so blessed with this oppertunity to build the house. We love everything about it.

SCHOOL

Carsen was so excited to meet his teachers Mrs. Missie and Mrs. Barbra. He is ready to go to school and start to learn. He it going to start to read this year it is so excited.

I can't believe how big he is getting.

Mikyn started 1st grade. Her teacher is Mrs. cook. She was so excited to be one of the big kids in school.

She picked out all of her clothes the night before and put them all out for the next day.

We had blueberry muffins for breakfast. And got all the school supplies we needed. She is so ready for the first day of school. I just don't know if I am! Love you Mikyn

We are getting so excited. Looks like we might be closing next week. The house looks like a real house with all the floors in.

I am so glad that everything we picked is all looking good together.

I don't know what we are going to do with all the book shelves in our library but I am so excited to have a place to put all of our mission stuff. Now it will be out and not all in boxes.

I love the carpet and all the light fixtures. I am so excited to get all of our things in the house. And enjoy it.

I love our kitchen. I love how the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling.

We ended up paying a lot extra on the floors but I think it was well worth it. I love them. We just have a little to go then it is time to move in and figure out what we are going to do about the yard. Lots to do but getting closer.

We are getting close to finishing. It is just crazy to think that we are almost in the house. This is the master. This is the kitchen almost done.

This is our entertainment center we had build in. We love it it looks so good with the wall color. This is the master with the trey ceiling. I love that so much.
The kids rooms are blue. It is a good color to do boy and girl.

This is our library I am so excited Kit and I wanted to have a place to put all our mission stuff and books. We love the way it came out.

They are going to finish up the painting this week and then they are going to start the flooring. I am so excited to see the floors done. We ended up getting hard wood floors for the kitchen and the entry way. We just love the way the dark wood looked. Now we start getting all the lights together! It has been very overwhelming but it is going good.

We have some more of the house done. This is Carsen in one of the closets in the master bedroom. Here is our kitchen with all of the cabinet work. He does such a good job.

This is our island. On the other side we will have a bar for the kids to sit.

This is the start of our Entertainment center. I love all the detail work on it.

The kids love going to the house. When ever we get there it is like we already live there and every one is so comfortable.

We are so excited about our house and getting ready to move in. yay!!!

4th of july

We had a fun July 4th...We were able to go to the Hartsville fireworks again. The kids had so much fun. We had the kids on the car and we sat in front. I had to get one of the best funnel cakes in the world. I look forward to those every year. I had two the year I was pregnant with the twins.

Mikyn and Carsen got to pick one ride. And they both picked the big bouncy slide.

They all love watching tv with Grandpa...

We were also able to go to the beach and meet up with someone from the mission. Elder Tyler Hamilton and his family. It was so fun to talk about all the old times. Carsen wanted to take a picture behind this sign. Mikyn wanted nothing to do with it. Funny kids.

We had so much fun at the splash pad today. We were able to go with some good friends and get out of the house for a while. It was so much fun the kids had so much to do there. This is Lorelei(I cant spell...sorry) This bucket would fill up and dump on all the kids. Carsen loved it so much.

About 30 minutes into it Rowen was hanging with the rest of them. It always takes him a little longer to warm up. But then when that happens then I really have to watch them.

We are always so excited when we get to go to the house everyday and see something being done. This is our back porch

We are so excited the rest of the brick should be done later on today. Then starts the inside. We are meeting the man next week who is doing all the trim work, the built in's, shelves, and cupboards. We are getting so excited we have just over a month and we should be moving in!

Dr Day

Well it was time for another visit to the doctor. I was lucky and was able to take 3 of them this time. Mikyn and the twins. Rowen is 27 lbs and 8 oz, he is also 31 inches high

Burgen is 27 lbs and 8 oz, he is 32 inches high.

It is so crazy to see that they are both so close to each other in weight. That is how they were when they were born. They both had 4 shots. I hate taking twins to get there shots. Because one gets them and you can't hold them because you have to get the other one ready. Mikyn was such a good helper though. She held Rowen for me after he was done and that helped him out so much.

Mikyn is healthy as well she had to have one shot for Chicken pox. She was so brave and didn't even cry. She told me she loved to watch it. She is growing like a weed. She is 47 lbs and 48 1/2 inches. She is the best little helper.

I am so grateful for all my kids they are all so good.

Mikyn had such a good Birthday. All she wanted to do was go to Chuck E Cheese. So we went with the family and had so much fun. We were on tv.
Mikyn got a Metal and a birthday Crown.

She was in the ticket blower room. She was so dainty about it.

And had a fun Hello Kitty party.

She had grown up so fast. I can't believe my baby is six years old.

This is our new property. We now have a whole acer. We are so excited. Well we are now getting everything done for the house to be built. We just got great news that all the permits went threw. And they are going to start the foundation on Monday. They just put in our water meter.

Mothers Day Weekend!

Well for Mothers day we always look forward to the race. Southern 500 nascar race. We were a little sad when we didn't feel up. But we are always grateful for the job and extra money.

The kids were all so good and had so much fun. Mikyn and Carsen got me and Grandma some flowers for mothers day. We got them before the race. On mothers day the kids gave me some new rainbow flip flops and Carsen picked me out a blanket. He thought I needed my own because I always am using his because all of ours are packed. He is so sweet. I love my cute family and love being a mom!

Spring Brake...

We had such a good spring brake...One thing the kids had so much fun doing was playing in the water. We had a huge water fight. And a fun water balloon launcher.

We all had so much fun. I know why my mom would always use water to get us going. Some of my favorite memories were water fights with the family. One of which my mom brought the hose in the house. What fun times. And lots more to come this summer.

I was doing the laundry this morning. And when I came back in to get the babies. They wer putting tennis balls in grandpas shoes. They both got one shoe and 3 balls. They are so sneeky.

We had so much fun on Easter. It was so warm outside that the kids were able to play in the water.
We had an Easter egg hunt. I had one every year that I can remember.

We are all moved in with Grandma and Grandpa Thames. And the kids just love to help with everything. And the babies cant leave grandma alone. Burgen now tells grandma where to sit and then as soon as she sits he reaches for her. They learn so quickly.

Well we are all moved out of our first house. We are going to miss it so much. But we are so excited to start our new adventure of building our next one. This is some pictures of the kids getting packed and ready to go. Burgen didn't know what was going on but had fun running around the house trying to unpack boxes.
Rowen decided he was going to jump out of the tub and got a huge goose egg on his head.

It looked so bad after a while. We are so excited to get a bigger house very soon. But for now we are going to stay with Kits parents. They are so sweet for letting us stay with them. I know it isn't easy with 6 extra bodies moving into your home. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.

We had so much fun this morning. The twins don't know much of what is going on but they see there brother and sister so happy so they know something cool is happening.
The kids loved pinching their dad before he put his green tie on. We all got our green on and were ready for work and school.
We ate some Green Clover pancakes for breakfast.

They were so good.

What a fun morning for us. I love how much our kids love holidays it doesn't matter which one it is. We are ready and excited. Hope no one gets pinched this year.

Grandma Mattie had a rice krispie train left from Christmas and we were so excited to make it. The kids dumped in all the ingredients into the bowl and helped stir. Then they took all the different colored frosting and decorated it. This is the finished product. They did such a good job.
Grandma and Grandpa Airplane got the kids some new shirts. The kids just loved them. I never realized how much they like clothes. They like to get them as much as I do.

We had such a wonderful Christmas. The kids just loved there new PJ's All the boys were in winter Thomas Pj's and Mikyn was in pink sponge bob.
The kids had the hardest time going to sleep on Christmas Eve. They finally went to sleep at 11:00 pm.

We woke up at 6:45 am. I put the Breakfast in the oven, we had breakfast cassarol and sticky buns. The kids got everything they asked for Mikyn wanted a Pink Wii remote, a Barbi, and a ponie. Carsen wanted a Blue Wii remote, Thomas trains, and Mario pj's. They boys got a tone of light up toys. They love them all so much. What a wonderful Christmas.

We had so much fun at Carsen's Christmas Party...The parents were able to come. He has been waiting for this ever since Mikyn was in 3K. They had all the kids bring something for the lunch, and a 5$ present. They put numbers on all the presents and then all got to draw a number then got the gift with the same number. Carsen got shoots and Latters I loved that game when I was little. Before all the parents both there they all got to go see Santa Clause. Mrs Debbie told me Carsen just waved through the door. And we went to the melting pot for dinner it was so much fun for the kids....

The babies favorite thing to do was take a bath in the sink....I didn't think they would fit but they both managed to squeeze into one side and loved it.

We had so much fun with grandma. We were also able to go on a miny vacation to Carsen's Beach and have a fun hotel visit. It was right on the beach and the sunrise was so beautiful. Thanks for everything grandma airplane. And thanks grandpa airplane for letting her come. I can't wait tell next time when we have ya ll here together. WE LOVE YOU!

Getting Ready For Christmas...

We are all getting so excited for Christmas... And every year it gets better. The kids get so excited to get everything out. And it is now our new tradition to get everything out for the inside of the house the weekend after the boys birthday. Burgen wasn't to thrilled about it I think he doesn't like it when to much is going on. Just like his dad they both get very claustrophobic.
Mikyn and Carsen are already telling the boys about Santa Claus and how he comes to our house if we are good.

Wow has it really been a year....
Wow I can't believe how much they have grown. This year we did everything fall. And we made Turkey cakes and cupcakes for their Birthday. It was so much fun we had to do everything 2 times. Like we sang Happy Birthday 2 times, we made two cakes and had 2 of everything. This is what the center of the table looked like. We had all the cakes be the center peace. We had Navajo tacos for dinner and lots and lots of cake.
This was the boys right before their party. Who is Who? they are starting to look so much alike, but they act so different.

Burgen is more like Mikyn and he didn't want to get dirty. I had to put some cake on his face.

Rowen dug right in and almost devoured 1/2 of his cake.

They got so many fun toys for their Birthday...And are still keeping them entertained. Which helps me out so much.

We can't believe how fast time has gone and we are so grateful for our little Men. We don't know what we would do without them. Happy Birthday Rowen and Burgen.

Halloween

We all had so much fun on Halloween. This is all the loot we got trick or treating down the street. It is so perfect for the kids. Just long enough. We we so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa go with us and our good friends. We had such a good time the Friday before Halloween at the ward Halloween party. They boys loved watching all the kids run around and have some fun.
Mikyn and Carsen loved playing all the games and win the prizes.

We had so much fun carving pumpkins and taking out all the pumpkin poop. We let Mikyn and Carsen draw there face on the pumpkin and then we carved it out. This one is Mikyns. Her pumpkin's name is still Jack. This is Carsen's. And his name is Pumpkin.

Carsen is 4 years old. All he wanted for his birthday this year was to go to Chucky cheese. He had so much fun. And was such a goof ball. He got a cool crown with extra coins in it. They played so many games for 2 hours.
Carsen got so many fun things for his birthday. And some cool Thomas stuff. He wares his Thomas boots everywhere. Thanks grandma and grandpa airplane.

He also loves playing in his new Thomas tent with Annie and Clarabelle passenger cars.

He had a Toy Story Birthday with the alian cake.

Everything was 3D with some 3D glasses. I t was way cool!

Well another fun birthday and so many more to come. My little boy is now 4 years old. And time is sure flying!

Halloween Costumes

We are all so excited for the holidays. We got all the kids in there Halloween costumes to takes some pictures. The Twins are Car fresheners. My mom and dad got them for them last year and I was so excited to put them in it this year. They are alot bigger than we thought but I am so glad we could squeeze them in. Mikyn wanted to be little mermaid. She loves the new red hair.
Carsen is a train conductor. He has his whistle and everything.

The twins just love Carsen I get so nervous when he is around them, I think he is to rough but they love every minute if it.

Fun With Friends

We had so much fun going down to Charleston. We were able to meet up with Boo, Amber and there kids. It was so much fun We were able to go to the beach and pick up shells.

We wen to a Pizza place called Mello Mushroom. It was so good one of my top places to get pizza and there pretzels were the best I had ever had.

We played lots of hand and foot. Girls would always win!!! Because we are that good. And we also learned how we had FAT TEETH. We love love doing fun thing and we have such good friends.

We have had so much fun with football this year. We have been lucky so far that the Utah and South Carolina games don't over lap. We are all dressed up in whatever game is first and then quickly change when it is over for the next game. I asked Carsen who he is going to play football for and he said the Game Cocks. And he said the twins can play for Utah.
It will be fun to see one day which team our kids play for. I just think they have the body type. But we are looking forward to a good football season...

He was so excited them morning when it was school day. He was up and ready to go before Mikyn was. He picked out his own out fit and he wanted blue berry muffins in the morning before he left just like his big sister.
This is him a week before at his class. He got to meet his teachers. Mrs Sharon, and Mrs Debbie.

He even found where he hangs up his backpack for school. And which bus had his name on it.

When I picked him up on Thursday his teacher said that she wishes all the kids were like Carsen. He minds very well and is so smart.

Mikyns First day of School!

Mikyn had her first day of Kindergarten. She was so excited to start school. She picked out her outfit and earring's. For Breakfast we had blueberry muffins and some hot chocolate. I drop her off and she rides the bus home. This is the boys waiting to see Mikyn get off the bus. I never thought I would be so excited to see a bus come down the road. There is my little girl home at last. I love you Mikyn. You are such a big girl.

Racing Day

We were so excited to have the nascar trucks in darlington. We thought this would be a good chance to take the kids to a race. They were so excited. Carsen wanted all of them and Mikyn wanted a Red Truck. We would Cheer every time they came around.
Mikyn thought it was to loud but I just loved the sound.

Carsen couldn't stop smiling. He loves cars and trucks.

They Finaly Made it!!!

Well it took them a long time to get here but they made it. They left on a Tuesday and didn't get here tell Thursday. We were so sad that all of the planes were full. But they ended up driving from SLC to Vegas and made a flight. We rented a cabin for the weekend in Tennessee we had a blast. We were able to meet up with my parents and Zak there. We only arrived about 30 minutes before they got there. We were so excited to see them. And the babies wormed right up to them. Kit and I went Zip lining. It was so fun and so worth it. We want to go back next year with some friends and do all the fun things that they have.

At the cabin we had so much to do. We played games, ate lots of treats, made smores and even Fed the raccoons. We had a knock at the door one night because some of the local people saw a big black bear between our cars and was letting us know to be careful.

All the kids loved playing with grandma and grandpa.

Zak was such a big help.

We had our own hot tub out on our porch and we swam in it all day long.

Well we made it back to our house and we swam in the pool. It was our first time all year and we loved it. We were in it for 5 hours the first day and we all got sunburned. But it sure felt nice.

The babies loved it alot to. I thing we will be getting in it soon.

Zak and Carsen spent all the time they had that wasn't in the pool or sleeping playing trains. They liked it so much. Carsen didn't want to play when Zak went home. He said He needed Zaky. And Zak kept saying that he needed a little brother. This is us climbing Chimney Rock. It was so pretty up there.

Kit and Grandpa had to carry the babies up the whole way man we got tired.

It didn't even put a dent in the kids energy.

We also went on the go carts. They were so much fun and all the kids loved it.

All in all we had such a great trip. We just wish it could have been longer.

Staying home with the kids

I am having so much fun with the kids this summer. I love being able to stay at home and watch them grow. Everyone always says every baby is different. But I never noticed it quite as much with having twins. Rowen and Burgen are so different in many ways. Some are Rowen can get where ever he wants to go in his walker and when ever you ask him to clap or say hi he does it in a heart beat. But when he is on the floor he gets around but he isn't pushing off or anything yet. Burgen on the other hand he claps but he doesn't wave yet but he can say dad and mom whenever he needs us. And he knows the difference. He is also getting relay close to crawling but when he is in his walker doesn't know how to get to where he is going as well as Rowen.
Mikyn and Carsen love their brothers. They always want to hold them and they play with them all day....It sure helps me out.

I love all my kids so much I can't imagine my life without them.

This is our good friends Cadie and Phillip and we have been doing so many fun things together lately. One of which the ultimate movie of the year ECLIPSE it was so good. We are always giving Kit and Phillip such a hard time about what team they are on so for the movie we got some Team Jacob Shirts. They we such big talkers until it came down to watching the movie. Both of them were so scared to ware the shirt and thought that the other wouldn't wear it. But Cadie and I made them and it was so much fun. Kit and I were in line to buy some popcorn and drinks and he was trying to cover up the Team Jacob writing. I told him not to worry no one was watching him. But just after I said it a lady asked us where we got the shirts. They were cute.
All in all the movie was great and we had such a good time. Thanks Cadie and Phillip for all the fun.

Twins 1st Hair Cut...

Well I have been wanting to cut the twins hair for a while now. and I finally had time to do it. This is Rowen He was so excited to sit up in the sink and watch what was going on. His hair was about 5 inches above his head. It was driving me crazy...

He hated it so I didn't get many pictures but he is so cut....I am glad that I did it. I just can't believe that I waited this long.

Fireworks with friends...

We were so excited to hang out with our friends. We are sad that they live 2 hour away while Boo is going to school. But we are so excited when we get to do things with them. We were able to go and wach the fireworks up in Hartsville with them and there family. The kids loved everyminute of it and we let them both pick a treat to have. They both wanted a snow cone. We are so lucky that it wasn't that hot. Even got alittle chillie at night.
They loved jumping on there dad. It was so weared only having 2 kids with us. The twins were with there grandma and grandpa. We didn't think they would enjoythem to much.

I love Carsen's face in this pictues. He is such a handful. But we love him so much.

We had such a good 4th of july and the kids can't wait tell next year.

Our walks...

We have been having so much fun walking up and down the street. Grandma and Grandpa got the kids some new bikes and they love riding all over the place. We have been going for Morning and evening walks with the kids. Not only does it get some energy out it helps me get into shape. We walk up and down the street Kit and I checked it out and we go just over 1/2 a mile. so we do it 2 times in the morning and then again when dad comes home. The kids love it and the babies do to.
I can't wait to get back into shape.

Fathers day

For fathers day the kids and I made Grill cupcakes. they had Stake, Hot dogs and shish kabobs. They were so cute I found it in one of those Family books and had to make them. They were a hit and so good. On fathers day Kit had to go into work. The kids were sad and I was scared...We were going to church all by ourselves for the first time with all 4 kids. Mikyn and Carsen sang some fathers day songs. Good thing that kits mom and dad came with me for sacrament or I wouldn't have been able to do it. Kit came home before we were out of the car. He helped bring the kid in and they were so excited to give him his presents. He got some new clothes and a grill cleaner.
We then headed over to grandma and grandpas house where we had a wonderful dinner and played Pool, Carsen would say Knock Ball. I think all the dads had such a great time.

I am so grateful for My dad and Kits dad. They do so much for our family I love them both so much.

7 MONTHS

I can't believe that my babies are already 7 months old. They are getting to big to fast. Rowen just cut his first tooth on the 15th of June. On the way into the Doctor appointment. This is Kit with all the kids. We have such a cute family! This is the boys getting ready to leave for the Doctors. Burgen already has a bad feeling about it. I always feel so bad for them when they have to get their shots.
This is them at the Doctor's office. Burgen on the left was 27 1/2 inches long, and 19 lb 4 oz. Rowen on the right was 27 1/2 inches long, and 19lb 8 oz. They were so close to the same on everything even head size. Rowen is just 4 oz bigger. That is how they were in my tummy as well they were both only a few oz difference the whole time. They are now starting to say mom and dad. I love that they know us and when I say look at dad they both look at there dad. The other morning when Kit came out of the bathroom after he was ready for work. Burgen looked at him and said dad dad. It was the cutest thing in the whole world.

I am so excited to have the Twins as part of our family they are such happy little men.

Family fun...

We had such a fun Memorial Day weekend. We spent it with Kits family We had a BBQ with some great hamburgers and hot dogs. We also were able to go to the movies and have a much needed date. I love this picture Carsen and Rowen are looking so much more alike now that he is getting older. Mikyn had her Doctor appointment. Where she got her shots for school. She was trying to be big and she only cried just a little. We are so proud of you Mikyn.
The kids blossoming before church. They are sporting their red, white and blue. Mikyn is so happy she is able to ware Dorthy hair once again. This is us the week before I can't believe that they are getting so big. Me on the other had my teeth are so bad I don't get what is going on with them right now. I have had 2 root canals done I hope that is all I need to do in the next while teeth are so expensive.

Kit and all the kids they all look like him you are crazy if you don't think so. We have such a happy family 99.9% of the time.

Mikyn's 5 Years old

Mikyn turned 5 on 5-20-05. I can't believe my baby girl is 5 years old. She was so excited for her birthday to get here. The day before we made some cupcake cookies. They had so much fun eating and playing with cookie dough. We tried to make them look like cupcakes not just the shape. She got so many gifts.
The only thing she wanted was a Pony cake. She was so excited to have pinkie pie on top of the cake.

She stuck her fingers in it the second it got there. Grandma and Grandpa got her, the birthday cake.

We had our family over and just sat around and had a good time. Mikyn loved playing with Carsen and Dee.

She had so much fun blowing out her candles. She blew each of them out individually. When Kit and I told her she was going to get 5 spankings and a pinch to grow and inch she was so scared. But we pinned her down and she did just fine.

And this is Carsen has to show off in anyway possible. Our lives would be so boring without him.

Mikyns 4K School Graduation

We are so proud of our little Mikyn, She is now done with preschool and moving on to Kindergarten. Her teacher Mrs. Barbra brought her a special present for always being so good in class. They were so proud of her. Dad was able to take the morning off of work so he could be there. He was so proud of her.
This is her and her teacher. When they graduated they got a certificate of completion, a bible with there name on it and a pillow case all the kids in her class put a hand print on it with there name on it. It was so cute, it amazed me because she could tell me every name on the pillow case. When she graduated she knows so much and is already reading small books. We are so proud of you Mikyn.

The Monday before she Graduated they had a birthday party for her. He took pink cupcakes with pink frosting and pink sprinkles in for her class. They had a pizza party and sang happy birthday. She was always so excited for the days she had school.

Mothers Day Weekend.

Our mothers day consists of a lot of time and hard work here at the Thames house. It all starts on Friday, we are lucky to have the Mothers day Race the Darlington 500 (Nascar) so close to home. We Wake up early on Friday and head over to Grandma and Grandpa Maddies house. We get all sun blocked up and ready for the day. This is the babies before the Friday race. Their first race, and many more to come. We park cars for both Friday and Saturday races. Kits parents live right next to the track so it is good parking. We have a lot of the same people that come every year. Kit and Carsen setting up chairs so we can be ready to wave our flags.
The boys did good for the most part they had a few naps and other than that they loved watching everything going on.
Here is Grandpa the master mind of it all. He has the parking down to a science.

This is us just getting started.

We only had the kids for the Friday race. On Saturday we has some babysitters so we didn't have to worry about them so much.

Then the time comes where we are done parking cars and we are ready to hit the bed. I never knew that waving a flag can get you so tired. But I guess being in the sun for 10 hours for 2 days in a row would do it to you. For mothers day we went to sacrament at church, Carsen and Kit sang to us. It made me so happy. Then we were off to grandma and grandpas house to pick up all the race trash. It was so funny the kids had such a good time they told everyone, " Mom and Dad are riding on the golf cart, and we are picking up trash." Kit said having kids is finally paying off. It was funny. But all in all I had such a good mother day weekend hanging out with my cute family. I couldn't ask for anything more.

So I got them a few new outfits and they finaly came in. They were just so cute I had to post them. Burgen is in the stripes and rowen is in the short sleaves. They are such happy little boys. We are so lucky to have them in our family. I can't believe they are almost 6 months old. It seems like they just got here. Everymorning we wake up to such happy little faces. They think that they have to get up at 6:30 to say bye to dad. I try to let them know that they don't have to, but they love there daddy.

Well we took this picture before we left I thought it was so cute...

Team Edward, or Team Jacob? This is our big adventure...Gerryn, Me, a 4 year old 2 three year old's and 2 4 month old's.

And It worked out so good.

The kids were so good the whole time. I would do it agin anytime. Rowen and Burgen they fall asleep when they are in motion anywhere. Car, swing, or plane. The older kids were so ready to get on the plane. It helped that they each had there own tv in front of our seats.
They all just woke up from there nap.

When we got to Grandmas and Grandpa Airplanes we had so much fun we did dress up.

Carsen loved being Captain America.

Carsen and Zak were buddies. They did everything together.

We all stayed together in a hotel for Easter weekend, It was the first time in a long time that My family and I have been together for a holiday. The kids must have been very good because the Easter Bunny was very good to them. Rowen and Burgens Baskets.

This is a picture of all the twins on my moms side of the family. We are missing Brandon and Benjamin Hampton, My uncle LaDell boys.

Man and our family is growing so much we now have 16 people in our family that use to be a family of 5.

This is the kids after the Easter egg hunt, we have one every year at grandma Hi-c's house. We have done it ever since I was a little girl.

This is Great Grandma Hi-c she is my mom's mom. We just love her so much.

Hanging out in my parents back yard. Rowen fell to sleep in one of the tunnels.

We went to the coolest ice cream place. You get to put what ever Ice cream you want into cups and toppings and then pay by the weight.

We took the kids to see the SLC Temple Mikyn just loved it. Carsen kept telling us that it was Jesus' house.

Out side at grandma Hi-c's house we played on a huge mud pile.

We were able to have a Birthday party for Mikyn and Kayja why we were out there. We saw the Dragon movie and had pizza, cake and lots of presents.

Kit and I were able to stay at Anniversary in the Mysteries of Egypt room why we were out there. It was so nice to get some sleep. I felt so rejuvenated. First time without the twins.

Gerryn and Korbin are here!

We had so much fun with Gerryn and Korbin this week. They got here on the 16th and the next day was St. Patrick's day. We had green clover pancakes. Later that day we made some brownie cookies and Gerryn put green hair die in the kids hair. Mikn and Korbin liked it but Carsen wanted to wash it out as soon as it was put in there. We ended up going to the beach that Saturday because it was going to be 80 degrees. We were so excited. We went to the outlets and the kids played on all the fun toys. Carsen the train of course. Mikyn picked the car because Garfield was in it.
When we were at the beach we buried each of the kids. Carsen wanted to be a car.

Korbin was a fish.

Mikyn was a mermaid.

It was such a nice day the best day we had this year so far.

The kids loved playing in the sand.

And we had such a good time and the kids loved every minute of it.

We have another fun week to come...
